II International Scientific and Practical Conference “MEDIA Education” will be held at the Chelyabinsk State University on 28 November 2017.

Researchers and media educators, graduate and post-graduate students specializing in journalism and teaching will be able to participate.

The problems and prospects of professional media education, the use of innovations in modern editions, the basics of teaching multimedia journalism in schools and colleges, etc. Will be discussed during this conference.

Scientific employees and media pedagogues, undergraduates and graduate students of pedagogical specialities and journalism faculties will be able to take part.By the beginning of the conference, it is planned to publish a special issue of the scientific journal “Sign: the problem field of media education”, which is part of the RINC (Russian index of academic citing) database. Participation in the conference and publication of conference materials for participants are free!

Applications and articles are accepted until 1 October 2017. Participants will be informed about the decision of the Program Committee no later than 1 November 2017.( The organizers reserve the right to reject applications and articles that do not correspond to the topic or are sent in violation of deadlines).
